Things are not great. On top of everything else my wife has had flu with no reserves to fight it. We have another appointment with the oncologist on Thursday.

Our medical claims for both of us have been approved, which means we can now go to a private specialist in Auckland.

The terminal Illness claim has also been approved which will provide us funds to head back to Europe to be close to family and more specialist support for my condition. I am also off work now so go to yoga everyday to stay sane. It’s sort of working.

It has now been over 12 months since I lost my husband and times have been tough on the kids and I. Especially with all the aftershocks still worrying us.

Thankfully we have not had to worry about money as all the financial pressure was taken away. Claims were paid promptly which helped us resettle quickly.

I now appreciate the hard work you put in to setting up our protection plan and am glad we took your advice. I am still on waiver of premium but know I need to restructure my insurances shortly.
I will defiantly be calling you for a review early next year.

Hi Joe, Thanks for your support.

I’m happy to say that chemo is going well and I’m actually feeling better and more able to do things.
Even starting to regain some of the weight I’d lost. The OnePath claim process has been fairly straightforward.

They’ve accepted the medical claim and sounds like the trauma and income protection policy claims should also get the go-ahead shortly.
